Lee Thomas, D.C.
Doctor of Chiropractic
Dr. Lee Thomas was born and raised in Akron, Ohio. He was very active as an athlete, playing several sports, including golf, volleyball, and track and field. He attended The Ohio State University, where he graduated with a degree in Human Biology with an emphasis in Human Nutrition. After graduating, he attended Palmer College of Chiropractic to complete his doctorate as a Chiropractor.
During his time practicing in Florida, he was the wellness doctor for 12 schools throughout Orlando, Florida. He also served as team chiropractor for the Southwest Florida Adrenaline, a PDL soccer team in Naples, Florida.
Dr. Thomas is the host of Maximize Your Health Radio on 98.9FM and 880AM, which airs state-wide throughout Ohio. He is a wellness physician for Team USA Judo, Weightlifting, Wrestling, and Paralympic Volleyball. He has recieved advanced training from top corrective clinics throughout the U.S. and Canada. As a Maximized Living Doctor, he is also certified in nutrition, exercise and detoxification. Along with his wife, Tristan, his goal is to empower families and athletes to live radically healthy lives.
Tristan was born in Atlanta, Georgia, however after a few years moved to Ohio with her family. She graduated from Ohio State, where she received a bachelors degree in economics and business. During the time that she spent with Dr. Thomas as he was completing his doctorate, she realized the passion he held for helping people by restoring not only their health but their hope and love for life. Sharing this desire, she became a certified health coach through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition and joined the office where she and her husband deliver the five essentials of Maximized Living.
When she is not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her family and serving the community by spreading health awareness. She leads a very physical lifestyle. She loves hot yoga, running, barre3, title boxing, and crossfit. She believes that workouts should be like life – full of hard work and perserverance yet fun, rewarding and always full of variety!
Patient Account Specialist
Tara was a patient at Riverside Family Chiropractic for over 3 years. She initially sought care because of severe neck pain and headaches caused from years of boxing, crossfitting and being in the dental field. She is now pain-free, headache-free and has seen huge improvement in her overall athletic performance.
After her and her husband, Cory, had their first baby boy in February 2017 she decided that she needed and wanted a career change. So she is now a great part of the team!
She handles patient accounts as well as ensures patients become the healthiest best versions of themselves.
Megan was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. Fitness became her passion when she was 15 years old and decided to pursue her career.
She graduated from Columbus State Community College in 2014 with her Sport & Exercise Science Degree and Exercise Specialist Certification.
When she’s not in the office or gym, she enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors with her dog, Boots, and spending time with her friends. She loves weight training, boxing, self defense, and personal training.
Gaby was born and raised in Coahuila Mx. In 2015, she moved to the U.S. after meeting her husband, Nate, during mission work. She grew up in a family that instilled strong faith and passion to serve those in need.
She spent several years involved in mission work and teaching before joining Riverside Family Chiropractic. She loves the experience and knowledge she gains working with the caring doctors and team.
Under Dr. Thomas’ mentoring and care, her husband Nate has decided to start chiropractic school next fall at Parker Chiropractic University. She and her husband have dreams to one day open a Maximized Living Health Center of their own.
Karen , her husband and two children have lived in Powell since 2006. For the last 17 years, she has been a full-time mom. She wasn’t looking for a job when Dr. Thomas approached her about joining the team but she knew that she just had to be a part of what this practice was doing.
She had been suffering from excruciating back pain, had numerous surgical consults, saw four different chiropractors as well as physical therapists. Nothing helped. When she found Dr. Thomas everything changed.
She is now working out, golfing and laughing again. Her perspective on health has changed and she wants her experience to give people hope. Be sure to ask her about her story when you come in.
5 Essentials Health Coach
Erin attended Hampton University in Virginia, where she earned a degree in Marine & Environmental Science. During her career as an animal trainer, she was always aware of her food and how that affected her mood and well-being. Naturally, when she was looking for a career change joining the health and nutrition field was a perfect transition.
She attended the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and became a Certified Holistic Health Coach. After working at Whole Foods for 3 years as the Healthy Eating Specialist she joined the team at Riverside Family Chiropractic. As a result her own health has improved by implementing the 5 Essentials in her own life. She loves providing Nutrition Counseling for the patients, as well as helping them incorporate the other essentials in their daily lives.
During her free time Erin enjoys cooking and loves to share! She and her husband are big foodies and enjoy creating new things in the kitchen. Be sure to pick her brain the next time you are looking for some new recipes.
